Mount Etna peak in dark clouds

Taking an extended hike in the Sossusvlei, and climbing some dunes is quite exciting. At the same time, one starts thinking about those who had to cross an entire desert on foot without proper supplies, for whatever reason... Sand until the horizon, and then: more sand. LOVE !

Probably the most common link between human feelings and a colour: RED means LOVE. After an extended period of rain, I found this colorful gift just outside our house in Taipei. LIGHT !

As the brightest basic color, YELLOW logically is frequently associated with LIGHT. This wet leaf set against the dark black & white background ilearly llustrates this virtue. HOPE !

The colour GREEN is the one usually associated with HOPE. To illustrate this feeling (currently in very high demand), herewith another rain-inspired image from my time in Taipei. On the way South towards Finland, we came across this peaceful beach with shallow water nicely structured by a huge amount of stones.
