Considering the huge amount of normal images with traffic lights, I wanted to do something more creative. This fine art composite originates from the times of analogue photography. Instead of digital post-processing, I worked with a mirror and different colored lightbulbs. With this arrangement, I created a magic iceberg-shaped landscape using the three-colored scheme of a traffic light. As such, red, yellow and green are all part of the vertical image. Each iceberg reflection makes it look as if they are floating on a pitch-black lake. The photos were originally taken on Fuji slide film with a Minolta X700 SLR in 1992.
